Stupid Water
Role: Writer
Every second, 1,000 people open a plastic bottle in the US. That statistic scared us, so we set out to change their ways.

We hijacked the label of one of the most popular water brands to create a point-of-purchase anti-advertisement. We reworded every line of copy on the bottle to tell the story of just how damaging single-use plastic bottles can be to the environment.

We made the label design available as a print-ready PDF so that fellow environmentalists can help spread our labels to the bottles of coworkers, friends and strangers around the country.

The new label directs people to a microsite where they’re encouraged to change their ways buy buying a reusable water bottle.
